2. Moving content to the centre doubled conversion rate
Piotr tested moving hero section content to the centre doubled the email opt-in conversion rate. Small adjustments like these can lead to significant improvements in performance.
Tips: Few other similar tweaks are a sticky header with a prominent CTA button, adding auto-focus to the email input field, and removing a stock photo that doesn’t add value can boost the conversion rate.
3. HTML tip
Marc shared this hack. If your product name contains a space, use (non-breaking space) in your HTML to prevent it from breaking up across lines.
4. Send emails from a subdomain, not the root
Ever noticed corporations don’t send emails using their root domain? They use multiple sub-domains for sending emails. So that if they get a DDoS attack, their domain reputation isn’t ruined.
Tip: Check your domain reputation in Google Postmaster free tool.
P.S. Some companies take it to next level by sending emails from other TLDs. For example, I start sending emails from Fazier.net instead of Fazier.com.
